The Deep Learning track filled in a lot of gaps for me. I'd read blog posts about neural networks but never really understood the training loop until working through it here in proper detail. The sessions moved at a pace where you could actually follow the reasoning.

I took the Foundations track when I was shifting from pure data analysis toward working with ML models. The pacing was good — not too fast for someone who hadn't written Python seriously before. The project work at the end helped pull the material together in a useful way. The physical location means I had to travel for some sessions, but it was worth it.

The Gen AI Studio is exactly what I needed. I'd been trying to build a small text generation tool on my own and kept getting stuck. Having facilitators who could look at what I was doing and explain specifically why something wasn't working made a big difference. My project ended up in better shape than I expected.

I was studying computer science but finding that university courses moved too quickly through the ML material. The Foundations track here let me slow down and actually work through things properly. The small group format meant I wasn't embarrassed to ask questions that seemed basic. Took both Tracks 1 and 2 in sequence.

Solid programme. The written materials are genuinely useful — not just a printout of slides but actual documentation that explains the reasoning behind what you're doing. The Deep Learning track was intensive in places but that's appropriate for the subject. Would have liked one more session on evaluation metrics, but that's a minor point.

I came in as a non-developer who needed to understand what my engineering team was doing with AI systems. The Foundations track gave me a working understanding of the concepts without dumbing things down. I can read the model training code now and follow what's happening. Wasn't sure it was for me at first, but Pakorn was very helpful in working through whether it made sense before I enrolled.

The Situation
Data analyst wanting to build models, not just use them
Natthapat had spent two years working with datasets in analytics tools but found he was always dependent on engineers when ML was involved. He wanted to understand enough to build basic models himself.
The Path
Foundations track, 5 weeks
He completed Track 01 over five weeks, working through Python data handling and then building a small classification model as the programme project. Facilitators helped him work through version conflicts in his development environment in the first week.
Where He Got To
Building and evaluating his own pipelines
By the end of the track he could write a full data-to-model pipeline independently. He enrolled in Track 02 the following month. "The jump from 'I know what a neural network is' to 'I can train one' happened here."
The Situation
Developer with a generative AI project idea but no route to build it
Suchada had a clear idea for a generative tool but had spent several weeks trying to build it alone, running into architectural decisions she didn't have the background to resolve.
The Path
Generative AI Project Studio, 11 weeks
She joined Track 03 with her project already partially defined. The first two weeks were spent restructuring the architecture before building began. Peer review sessions mid-programme gave her useful feedback on the interface design.
Where She Got To
Working application with documentation
She completed the studio with a working application, full technical documentation, and a better understanding of the tradeoffs she'd made in the design. "The project review sessions were the part I didn't expect to find useful but actually found most valuable."
